| We drove out to Akaroa in the morning, stoppng en route in Little River for a coffee. On arrival we checked into our weekend rental house, 51 Woodills Road. The house and weather were delightful, and we took a walk up the Woodills track - a lovely walk, but it was pretty steep in places, and it took us rather more than the 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete that it said in Mark Pickering's excellent book (The Banks Peninsula). |
