| We met Richard and Nicky on the quay at Bideford at around 8:30, and there was time to go for a coffee before departure on the MS Oldenburg at 9:30. We arrived on sunny Lundy at around 11:30 and made our way up to the village. After a hearty lunch in the pub (lamb pasty and chips - mmm!), we moved into Bramble Villa East. We then went on a walk up the eastern side of the island as far as halfway wall (about halfway up the island). We then crossed to the west of the island in search of puffins. We didn't find any, but it was a glorious walk, with skylarks singing everywhere. |
