| After a very wet Monday (5th), Tuesday was much kinder, with only a brief wet period in the late morning. We set out in the morning from our apartment, and walked across the Victoria Bridge to the South Bank, where we spent a couple of pleasant hours in the Queensland Museum. We then walked through the South Bank Gardens, across the Goodwill Bridge, and then along by the river. After that we cut back through the Botanic Gardens to Government House, before returning to Astor Apartments for a cup of tea and a lie down. |
