| We spent the day in Akaroa and around the Banks Peninsula. In the morning we could not leave Akaroa, as the Christchurch to Akaroa cycle race meant that Woodills Road was closed off (and our car trapped), as it was being used for the finishing line. So we walked around the hills behind Akaroa. In the afternoon we drove over to Okains Bay, and visited the excellent museum there. |
